About Dwell
Dwell is a real-time transit platform built for university campuses. It turns the raw GPS coming off campus buses into arrival predictions riders can trust, and proves their accuracy in the open.
Why it exists
On a lot of campuses, the arrival times riders see are really just the printed schedule, or a live feed with the wrong trips attached, so the screen shows a bus that never comes. Dwell takes a different approach: it ignores everything except where the vehicles actually are, rebuilds every prediction from that ground truth, and measures the result continuously so the quality is never a mystery.
One platform, end-to-end
Dwell owns the whole lifecycle end-to-end, so each stage can make the next one better: cleaner data upstream means better predictions downstream, and every trip feeds the history and accuracy record that sharpen what comes next.
Every prediction starts from where the buses actually are, pulling in the raw GPS each vehicle reports.
Live position meets a deep history of past trips to work out when each bus will really reach the next stop.
Every trip is kept and learned from, so timing reflects how the campus moves by time of day, day of week, and season.
Predictions publish in the open standard that transit apps already read, so riders keep using the apps they have.

Built for the academic calendar
A campus in July moves nothing like a campus in October. Dwell learns separate timing models for each service period (summer, semester, and breaks), so arrivals reflect how the campus actually moves right now.
